Southern Indiana Denied Tournament Bid only Because They just Moved Up to dI last year and also went 8-24

EVANSVILLE—

“It’s a total crock of s**t,” said local fan Fred Coudret, referring to the University Of Southern Indiana Men’s Basketball team being left out of the NCAA Tournament. “You see these teams like Bellarmine and Merrimack getting denied bids just because they haven’t been DI long enough, it’s absurd. And now they’ve done it to my Screags. There is truly no justice in this cruel world.”

While Coudret failed to mention that the Screaming Eagles finished 5-13 in conference play and lost in the first round of The Ohio Valley Tournament, it does beg the question “But what if they were good?”
