KANSAS CITY - It seems cinephiles may finally get their wish.
After years of mulling over the subject matter of what his tenth and final film (a self-imposed rule by the quirky auteur) will be, even going as far as to start pre-production on project titled “the Film Critic”, QT has finally landed on his darling: Hard Knocks for UMKC’s men’s basketball team. We sent our reporter to Missouri to capture the early thoughts on just why the iconoclastic writer director finally landed on this:

“So there I was, right, with Roger Avery, okay, and I was walking down the street in Cannes, in fucking…the south of fucking France, of all places, okay, and I was thinking, “oh, I should do a Pulp Fiction sequel.” It’s like, the only thing on my mind, right, but then i did a huge fucking line of blow, you know, coke, right, okay, and I thought “No, fuck that. That could be a novel.” And right when I said that, boom: in the corner of this little French cafe right, was this fucking basketball team. But it wasn’t just any basketball team, alright, they had a kangaroo on their court. And that’s when i knew.”
